About

I’m a B.Tech + M.S. by Research student in Computer Science and Computational Linguistics at IIIT Hyderabad, where I work with Precog and LTRC on natural language processing, vision-language models, and AI alignment, advised by Prof. Radhika Mamidi and Prof. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru.

In 2025 I was a visiting researcher at the Dept. of Advanced Computing Sciences, Maastricht University, working with Dr. Vageesh Saxena and Prof. Christopher Brewster on applying machine learning and multi-modal data to crop yield prediction, as part of the EU Horizon project AMBROSIA.

My research spans NLP, multi-modal learning, and responsible AI. Lately that’s meant code-mixed language modeling, compound semantics, and misinformation detection. I’ve also worked in industry, on graphs and multi-agent systems at Fujitsu Research of India, and earlier at StartupWind and EOS.

Outside research, I like teaching and mentoring. I’ve taught, reviewed, and helped run programs at IIIT Hyderabad, IIT Madras, and venues like the MT Summit. When I’m not deep in embeddings, you’ll usually find me watching an F1 race, three moves into a chess opening I probably shouldn’t have picked, or enthusiastically breaking down football and cricket tactics with anyone patient enough to listen. I’m also teaching myself Spanish and Dutch these days, almost always with music playing in the background.

You can find my full background on the CV page, my projects on the research page, and my papers on the publications page. Feel free to reach out via email or LinkedIn.
